Museum Etiquette

The Children’s Museum of the National Folk Museum of Korea offers hands-on type exhibitions.
As the museum is a social space of education and relaxation designed to be shared by many people,
please observe the following rules during your visit to the museum.
  • Follow your parents’ instructions
    All children must be accompanied by their parent(s) inside the Children’s Museum.
    Please teach your children the appropriate visitor etiquette and culture.
  • Keep your voice down and enjoy your program in an orderly manner
    The Children’s Museum is a place to be shared with many other people. Please keep your voice down so as not to disturb the other visitors.
    Enjoy your program in an orderly manner, and clean up afterwards.
  • Do not run in the exhibition hall
    Please do not run inside the museum so as to avoid unnecessary accidents
  • Do not wear wheeled shoes inside the museum
    Serious accidents can happen if you skate through the venue and bump into others.
    Please wear comfortable shoes when you visit the museum.
  • No food or drink is allowed inside the museum
    No food or drink is allowed inside the Children’s Museum. Some visitors may find the smell of food unpleasant,
    while crumbs of food can attract insects into the exhibition hall.
